Zork Returns In MMO Form, Somewhat

The classic adventure game Zork is back, this time in the form of a browser-based casual MMO Legends of Zork, published by Ireland-based Jolt Online Gaming.

The Great Underground Empire is in ruins, FrobozzCo International has implemented massive layoffs, and a newly unemployed traveling salesmen sets off in search of treasure and adventure in this upcoming rebirth of the classic franchise from Jolt Online Gaming.

“As a complete Zork geek, I’m very proud to be releasing this title”, stated Dylan Collins, CEO of Jolt Online gaming. “Anyone who plays MMOs will definitely like to spend some time with Legends of Zork while they’re taking a break or browsing around the web. It’s very addictive”.

While i am always skeptical about a classic property in new hands, the fact that the picture of the Grue that accompanied the release gives me hope. Be sure to sign up at www.legendsofzork.com to be alerted when the game goes live.
