US telecommunications company Verizon has launched a games-on-demand service for PC titles in parts of North America.
So far the service is only available for fibre optic internet users in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York, but it already offers over 1200 games from publishers including Eidos, Microsoft, Ubisoft and Take-Two.
Customers are offered a range of packages priced USD 4.99, USD 7.99 and USD 14.99 per month, with the first 14 days free for new subscribers.
