Chris Taylor, acclaimed creator of Total Annihilation and Dungeon Siege, exclusively told CVG he's interested in bringing his latest epic RTS game, Supreme Commander to consoles, in a recent interview with CVG.
When asked if he thought Gas Powered Games' upcoming RTS creation would work well on consoles, Taylor responded saying: "absolutely and we're going to explore that for sure," making chances of a console-bound Supreme Commander likely.
No further hints were offered on a possible console-transformation in the interview, though putting on our big hat of speculation, we reckon that the Xbox 360 version of Battle for Middle-Earth II may have helped to sway Gas Powered Games' decision on a console port.
Excellent news for console owners then, if indeed the 'Commander does make his way over to the console battleground. GPG's latest is shaping up as one of the biggest RTS releases of 2007, and for console owners to miss out on its stellar air, sea and giant-spider-mech battles would be a terrible shame indeed.
