Back on April 8 Square Enix launched their first MySpace game, Dive II Hunt, in an effort to open their games up to an audience beyond those following the Square website. Square Enix announced today that it has now launched a second game on the social networking service called Crawlian.
Crawlian is a puzzle game where players are given a "click-and-roll-able block" to maneuver around an ever-changing game board throughout 21 stages. Players can create, edit and share their own custom-made stages and can tally their scores on a global leaderboard.
Square Enix is one of many Japanese game publishers to attempt to tap into the large audience that MySpace presents. With over 45 million users on MySpace installing apps, Square Enix is hoping that Dive II Hunt and Crawlian create a successful new avenue to deliver their games.
