The 2.0 patch released for SimCity has, according to some users, caused new problems with the game. PCGamesN reports that the update, released earlier this week, has sparked outrage on both the game’s forums and Reddit after seemingly causing fresh issues with many of the title’s in-game systems.
Some users are reporting sewage overloads in even tiny cities while fresh traffic errors also seem to be cropping up. There’s also evidence of mystery air pollution cropping up in seemingly unpolluted areas.
Others have been prevented from loading saved cities completely or experienced sound glitches.
EA will be hoping that the problems are isolated and don’t point to a wider issue with the update. The last thing SimCity needs at the moment is more bad press.
