Valve has released an update for the PC version of Portal that's introduced a series of mysterious radio messages, possibly hinting at a sequel.
The update, which includes a single change labelled simply as "changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations" also introduces a PC achievement called 'Transmission Received'.
This is unlocked by moving radios - new and old - around the various challenge rooms until they broadcast upto 26 different Morse code messages.
The PC community (via our mates PC Gamer) is naturally hard at work translating the clues, which all suggest that super AI GlaDOS is, yes, still alive.
Here's what they have so far:
"Interior transmission active
External data line active
Message digest active
System data dump active
User back up active
Password back up active"
There are also some encoded images which you can find below.
It's not the first time a sequel's been on the cards, of course: in 2008 a job ad suggested that the follow-up will in fact arrive in the form of a prequel.
We'll let you know when the super fans find more clues.
