Phantasy Star Online 2 Open beta this week

Phatansy Star Online 2 will dive headlong into its open beta phase from June 21, Sega has confirmed.
Earlier closed versions of the game will be taken offline in preparation for the launch of the open beta.41,500 simultaneous connected players were tallied this past saturday, setting a new record for the game according to Producer, Satoshi Sakai, via Siliconera.
The open beta will allow players to tuck level up their characters to a maximum of level 30.
The full game will be free-to-play and is planned for full release in Summer on PC, PS Vita and smartphones. While the PC and Vita versions will be like-for-like and offer cross platform play, the Smartphone versions will be a different, simpler game with 'social elements'.
