Payday 2 'Game Weapon pack' released for $4.99

Overkill Software has released the first weapon pack for Payday 2, titled the 'Gage Weapon Pack #01'.
The pack, which is available now via Steam for $4.99/£3.99, adds frag grenades for the first time in the series, along with three new guns; The Signature .40 pistol, Eagle Heavy rifle and the SpecOps submachine gun.
Additionally, players will be able to don four new animal-themed masks, and player weapon slots have been increased significantly from 18 to 72.
The update also enables all players to toggle between Single- and Auto-fire modes with all full-auto weapons. Ten new achievements have also been added.
Overkill Software has previously revealed plans to release five Payday 2 DLC packs. The Gage Weapon Pack #01 is the second DLC offering, after the add-on mission Armored Transport.
In our Payday 2 review we said: "With friends, it's one of the most intense, thrilling co-op multiplayer games we've played.
"The unpredictability of the randomisation can make even heists you've played a dozen times feel fresh, throwing new surprises at you. Making it past seemingly impossible odds with a fat bag of money slung over your shoulder is hugely rewarding."
