Consumers after Valve’s Steam Machines and Link tech need to get a move on.
Over 35 per cent of Steam’s ‘get it early’ hardware pre-orders have already been sold.
That’s according to Valve, who says that the its Steam Machine, Controller and Link hardware is shifting quickly. Last week, Valve opened pre-orders for the Alienware Steam Machine.
Consumers who pre-order at the moment will get the hardware on October 16th, ahead of its official launch date of November 10th.
"The 'get it early' preorder offer is available to everyone who preorders, but only while supplies last,” Valve said. "As of this writing, we have sold over 35 percent of the limited quantity available for early delivery in October."
Little has been said about the hardware’s launch in the UK, though the Steam Link streaming box is exclusive to GAME in the region.
Both the Steam Machines and Steam Link come with a Steam Controller. Valve released details about the final form of Valve’s gamepad last week.
