OnLive to offer on-demand movie service

OnLive intends to move into the business of movies on demand according to reports.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the cloud gaming platform will offer up a subscription based movie streaming service at some point next year.

That should go nicely with the platform's primary offering, then, of streaming AAA games to devices that really shouldn't be able to play blockbuster titles at all.

The cloud gaming device got a monthly subscription plan at the beginning of the month but there's no news as yet as to whether the inclusion of movies will add extra cost.
