NVIDIA has announced its latest budget graphics card, the GTX 650 Ti BOOST, which offers up to a 40 per cent performance increase over the card's predecessor.
As the year's biggest PC release continue to launch, NVIDIA has moved to provide gamers with an affordable card, designed to boost performance within these games.
The GTX 650 Ti BOOST GPU is based on NVIDIA Kepler architecture and packs 768 CUDA cores, whilst available in both 1GB and 2GB memory configurations.
Equipped with a wider 192-bit memory interface, NVIDIA says the GPU offers up to 60 per cent more memory bandwidth than its predecessor – the GTX 560 Ti – whilst providing 40 per cent increased performance overall.
The new GPU also incorporates NVIDIA's GPU Boost technology, which reacts in real-time to the needs of a game and dynamically adjusts performance along with SLI capability.
NVIDIA says the 2GB edition of the GTX 650 Ti BOOST is available now for £144 from the firm's add-in card suppliers, such as ASUS, EVGA, Gainward, KFA2, Gigabyte, Inno 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, Point of View and Zotac. Meanwhile, the 1GB version of the GPU will be available early April for £124.
