No Trick, All Treat at GOG.com as Halloween Promo Launches

GOG.com has all the DRM-Free treats for gamers this Halloween: 18 classic and new games are discounted up to 75% during theirHalloween Promo; Outlast-a survival horror game full of heart-stopping scares and gore-is available for $13.99; and Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut-one of the most bizarre and satsifying experiences out there-will be added to the catalog later today for $22.99 during the first week after launch.

The horror-themed games included in the Halloween Promo span many genres: point-and-click adventure game fans should definitely check out the classic Gabriel Knight series (60% off, $2.39 for each game). For more action-oriented gamers Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare (75% off, $7.49 and $2.49 respectively) should offer plenty of twisted creatures lurking in the dark, while survival horror Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (30% off, available for $13.99) is sure to prove a sanity-testing trip for those more susceptible to unseen terrors and spine-tingling atmosphere.

If Halloween Promo is not enough GOG.com has some fresh releases that will have gamers crawl under a desk (out of fear or laughter or just pure puzzlement). Outlast is a highly disturbing, perfectly paced first-person survival horror game which tells a horrific story of a derelict mental asylum and a particularly helpless investigative journalist. For a more Lynch-ian treat gamers should check out Deadly Premonition-often referred to as the Twin Peaks of horror games-finally arriving on PC in its extended version.
