The head of an emerging terrorist network has been targeted for termination and a team of specialists have joined forces to take the subject and the network out. That, in a nutshell, is the over-arching plot of Field Ops, Freeze Interactive's PC title that combines RTS and FPS gameplay and drops the amalgam into a modern-day combat scenario.
Field Ops deploys in the early 2007, but in the meantime new screenshots released reveal one of the game's missions based in Cuba. What we're seeing is actually an operation being conducted in Santiago de Cuba, the second largest city in the country which, so we're told, has been overrun by left-wing extremists under instructions from some bloke called Ramiro Omar RodrĂ*guez.
