Microsoft Surface 2 on the way?

Software corp has been expanding the Surface team since the first tablet's June unveiling.
Microsoft revealed its Surface tablet less than two months ago, and while the 10.6-inch screen device is yet to be released, Mashablesuspects a second Surface could, well, surface.
The software firm's career site currently has 13 Surface-based positions on offer, all of which span different engineering sectors including; hardware, mechanical, thermal design, software development, and electrical.
Some of the posts were made on June 18th, but the most recent openings were listed on August 2nd, suggesting the firm is ramping up its design efforts for a Surface 2.
Microsoft's entry to the tablet market will find rivals in Apple and Amazon, both of which are said to be working on an iPad Mini, and Kindle Fire sequels, respectively.
