PC gamers will be getting another massively multiplayer online game to lose their spare time to this summer--Sword of The New World (Granado Espada in Korea). The title is developed by IMC Games, the company headed up by Hakkyu Kim, creator of Ragnarok Online, which has over 25 million subscribers worldwide.
Sword of The New World allows players to control and level up three characters simultaneously either by switching between them or by setting them to act on autopilot. The game takes place in Europe in the seventeenth century, and the story has been based on the historical events surrounding Europe's exploration of the Americas.
The Western version of the game will offer several new features, including an improved control scheme, a brand-new story with hundreds of side quests, and a new character-customisation feature with a slew of costumes.
Sword of The New World will be brought to the US and Europe by online game publisher the K2 Network, based in Irvine, California. A trial version of the game will be playable for free, alongside a premium, boxed copy which adds additional content and gameplay.
