Up to four people will crew a ship, taking on one of the key roles of Captain, Gunner, or Engineer joining a team and fighting against other ships above the post-apocalyptic waste. In Guns of Icarus Online, it will take teamwork and tactics to dominate the skies.
The most recent updates included the addition of spectator mode with a free camera and the first implementation of costumes, achievements, stat tracking, and friend lists. Additionally weapons and ships were balanced and the first tournament, Thunderdunes, was held, with 16 ships battling for the honor, prestige, and awesome prizes.
