Guild Wars comes out for October Nightfall

The third part to MMORPG Guild Wars, sub-named Nightfall, has been handed a global October 27 release date, challenging its band of warriors to do battle against the spreading of eternal darkness.

This stand-alone chapter will be available in both Standard and Collector's Editions, with the latter rewarding purchasers with a goodie bundle that includes a behind-the-scenes DVD, artwork booklet and CD soundtrack.

As for the actual adventuring, new customisable heroes march into the mix, with characters heading into such unfriendly lands as 'savage coasts' and 'poisonous deserts'. Weston-Super-Mare and Southend beach it is, then. Don't forget the bucket and spade...
