The demo lets you try out the PC-exclusive map Calavera in one of two modes - Recon vs. Assault and Team Deathmatch. The first of these lets you either creep around the alleys of Mexico as a highly trained Ghost, or just run around blasting as a seemingly brainless rebel. Naturally there's no bias in the portrayals. Get bored of that and you can organise yourselves into teams and duke it out with your army-talking chums.
PC owners waiting for the tactical squad-based shooter will be treated to a map editor, new multiplayer mode and a "more tactical" experience, apparently. And a closed mulitplayer beta-test has already been and gone, too, so everything should be in working order when the game's released on 29th June.
The Xbox 360 version of the game was released earlier in the year and received a hearty pat on the back from Eurogamer. It wasn't hugely dissimilar to the first instalment, although it was more polished and probably represented a better overall experience.
