Google has unveiled its own app store that allows you to install and run games straight from a browser.
It's called the Chrome Web Store and is due later this year. What's more, it works in any web browser.
Google used adapted 3D game LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 to demonstrate Chrome Web Store at the Google I/O conference recently. Reports claim the game launched and ran without a hitch. Google also demonstrated PopCap's tremendous Plants vs. Zombies.
But it won't be all fun and games: boring software to do with work can be installed and run quick-sharp as well.
Developers can host both free and paid-for content on the Chrome Web Store.
