Details of the rumoured Google tablet PC have been released following the leak of a company document. Gizmodo Australia claim to have possession of a training document that offers detailed information surrounding the device's specifications and design, along with a name – the Nexus 7.
The document continues to list the specifications of the Nexus tablet which includes a seven-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 1.2MP front-facing camera and a choice of 8GB or 16GB internal storage and will be produced by Asus.
It is reportedly set to feature a new flavour of Android’s operating system, which is codenamed Jelly Bean.
Rumours circulating strongly suggest that the device will be unveiled during Google’s I/O event, which kicks off Wednesday. If true, the device's launch will coincide with Microsoft’s announcement of its tablet PC offering – the Surface – last week.
