Strategoria is a new browser MMO strategy game from Amber Games, developed in the best traditions of the Age of Empires and Total War. Templar Knight, Barbarian, Mongolian Archer, Norman Spearman meet you on the main page, inviting you to join them in the pragmatic, cruel, but somehow romantic, world of the Middle Ages, where war is the only true reality.
Reality is the key word to understand Strategoria. Fast-paced environment makes advantage in numbers vanish if you lose in strategy and tactics. There's no other battlefield, than the one you build yourself. Tactics and Construction are united on one map. If you create your kingdom as an ever-green place - it will be hard for archers and cavalry to attack you, because their effectiveness wanes in the forest. If you manage to build a stone reinforcement during the battle you can entrap your enemy, and guarantee a success.
Strategoria has classical PvP mechanics. You won't have a chance to sit peacefully guarding your gold, or chopping your wood. Resources are always on shortage. But your neighbour always has a few. He can share if you make a deal, or you can take them by force. It's for you to decide whether a word or a sword is your strongest weapon. Find new friends to create alliances and strike enemies with all your might.
Sign up for the Closed Beta and start building the Kingdom of your own on October 8th. Try the game, share your ingame experience with developers, and who knows, your comment might be crutial to make Strategoria a new hit.
