Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has been given a 26th October release date.
That's a Tuesday, which means the UK may not get the game until Friday, 29th October, although Amazon.co.uk lists suggests the previous Friday, 22nd October, will be the big day. Activision told Eurogamer a European date was yet to be announced.
The date appeared on the official Force Unleashed II Facebook page alongside a witty "May the fourth" joke.
So far we've seen nothing beyond an appetite-whetter of a video for The Force Unleashed II. In it, Galen "Starkiller" Marek - the main character in the first game - takes on an enormous Rancor-eating beast inside an arena.
He uses double blue lightsabers - a colour traditionally favoured by Jedi - and Force Lightning, a skill preferred by the Sith. And the video contains the voices of both Darth Vader and Yoda.
How much can be read into those touches remains to be seen.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was released in autumn 2008. Main attractions were sumptuous visuals and the promise of immense Force powers - one level had Marek dragging a starship out of the sky and into the ground.
