Expect Spore in 2008, says EA

For a project as mind-bogglingly ambitious as Will Wright's Spore the occasional delay is expected. But according to an Associated Press report this morning the wait for the organism sim will probably end up stretching into next year.

In the report EA warns that it expects Spore may miss the fiscal 2008 calendar year which ends in March 2008. Although no official release date has ever been set for the game, many will be getting slightly itchy at the thought of having to wait another entire year before the game is in the publics' hands.
