Earth Eternal Beta

Today Sparkplay Media will announce the start of the closed beta for Earth Eternal, a free-to-play fantasy MMO. Later this summer players can explore the 3D world through a browser or a downloadable client, but a lucky few who head over to the Earth Eternal website and sign up for the closed beta will find themselves getting early access to the game.

Earth Eternal invites players to enter a world built around familiar myths and fairy tales and create their own unique characters from 22 different races, "from the bear-like Ursine to the Faerie-born Cyclops to the hawk-like Atavians." Players will also select one of four character classes -- Knight, Rogue, Mage or Druid -- but are free to customize their character with abilities drawn from other classes.
