Charitable sales platform is on mark to break records with 1m units sold
The Humble Bundle has launched a new major sale offering six games from EA, and it's already shaping up to break every sales record for the platform.
The charitable sales platform is best known for its DRM-free, multiplatform offerings of bundled indie games but lately the organizers have changed things up with packages from big-name developers and major publishers.
This latest package, The Humble Origin Bundle, includes Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Burnout Paradise, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge at a price set by the user.
Those who pay more than the current average of $4.79 get Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 Starter Pack as a bonus.
It might seem like EA is crazy for offering eight games for under $5, but the company could gain a lot of users and publicity for its Digital Download service, Origin.
