Dragon Age: Origins Starts Up in October

Anyone looking to dig into BioWare's upcoming Dragon: Age Origins should mark October 20th, 2009 on their calendars. The company has confirmed to IGN that's the release date for its role-playing game across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms in North America.

Billed as something of a 'spiritual successor' to the revered Dungeons & Dragons-based Baldur's Gate computer RPGs of roughly a decade ago, Dragon Age: Origins will follow an original story in a new fantasy world.

Since E3 2008 BioWare has been doing quite a bit of press with its title, which you can find conveniently compiled in our Dragon Age information center. We'll be bringing you even more impressions and media when E3 2009 kicks off in Los Angeles next week.
