Dead Island devs announce hack-and-slash Hellraid

Techland has announced that its next project will be a co-op set in a mediaeval fantasy world.

Hellraid is set in a world overrun by monsters, demons and the undead, and will offer a first person, story-driven mode as well as a co-op mode for up to four players.

It will feature melee, ranged and magical weapons and puts an emphasis on randomly generated content.

The game, which was originally named ‘Project Hell’, was actually created as an internal weapon mod for Dead Island.

Hellraid is said to arrive later this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
