Bandai Namco is expected to release the PC edition of Dark Souls 2 by the end of April, according to promotional materials.
From Software's anticipated action RPG will ship on PC and Steam on April 25, a marketing image published on Siliconera suggests. The publisher has confirmed a Dark Souls 2 release date of March 11 in North America and March 14 in Europe on PS3 and Xbox 360.
A spokesperson for publisher Bandai Namco did not confirm the rumoured PC release date when speaking to Siliconera, stating that the marketing image was intended for the Southeast Asia regions. Nevertheless, the materials suggest late April is Bandai Namco 's general release target.
April 25 also falls on a Friday, which is typically the day when games are released in the UK.
Late in February, Bandai Namco revealed the Dark Souls 2 Collector's Edition. At the time, it said a PC edition will be released "shortly" after the console one.
A Bandai Namco spokesperson was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
