chankast settings

hello.
I have managed to get chankast working (horah!), and have made images of one of my own GD-ROMS (.cdi and .b5i.) A problem arises when I mount an image into my virtual drive whist running Chankast. The spinning CD graphic drops down, as if Chankast is reading the virtual drive, but then the graphic pops up again. I was wondering what settings I might need to change to get past this point.
I hope I have been vague enough not to get this topic locked, but specific enough for others to help. xxx
