It's been confirmed that Capcom's Xbox 360 shooter Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is PC-bound and due to release on these shores in June.
According to reports from Japanese press, Lost Planet on PC will support DirectX 10.
Lost Planet is a third-person shooter set in the future that drops players into the boots of a pilot called Wayne, who wakes after being seriously injured only to discover he's suffering from severe memory loss.
What follows is balls-to-the-wall action as Wayne battles alien aggressors and pirates in unforgiving arctic environments and uncovers a devious plot - well, he would do, wouldn't he - set in motion by the Neo Venus Construction Corporation.
Presumably Lost Planet's multiplayer component is being kept intact for the PC version, and it's possible the release will include download content deployed for the Xbox 360 original.
