An early release date for the Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars demo appeared on the net, but was pulled nearly as quickly as word went round the web.
Jumping in to save the day - and embargoed date perhaps - was an EA online community manager who told fansite Command and Conquer DEN, "The date is not official. We will be releasing this demo in conjunction with FilePlanet as we did with BFME2, but they put the cart before the horse. We will announce the date when ready and that is hopeful for later this week."
February 20 then? Pencil in the date.
There's nothing on a potential Xbox Live demo as of yet. And that's probably got something to do with the fact that the Xbox 360 game is a few months behind the PC version.
