Avalon Heroes: Closed Beta successfully completed

The Closed Beta phase of the new free-2-play online strategy game highlight Avalon Heroes saw plenty of hot fighting and has now been concluded very successfully. The selected beta testers who joined the battle on the side of either faction, Oriens or Aeonia, gave one another a really hard time. At the end of the two-week Closed Beta phase from November 25 through December 9, the victory score was 51.5% for Aeonia and 48.5% for Oriens. All of Avalon Heroes' game modes (i.e., battle, scenario and adventure modes) were thoroughly tested, which is evident from the level gains of our ambitious testers.

This means that the fantasy world of Avalon Heroes is almost ready for the rush of the Open Beta phase which will begin in a few weeks. Whether the Aeonia faction will be able to hold on to their narrow winning margin, or whether Oriens will manage to win the upper hand in battle, is going to be decided in the near future.

Avalon Heroes is a true genre highlight for adventure fans, combining real-time strategy and RPG with competitive elements. The title is primarily focused on the development of up to a hundred customizable characters whose skills players get to expand in classic role-playing tradition. Single player campaigns and multi-player modes alike prepare adventurers for the greatest challenge of all: fighting and developing a strategy that will lead to final victory. But it is impossible for players to prevail in impressive online battles unless they find the right allies. After all, it takes a team to decide the battle between the two factions, Oriens and Aeonia.
