Assassin's Creed will be coming to tablets "in a few years" according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.
It'll be joined by editions of Ubisoft's other biggest brands, although Guillemot only named Assassin's specifically when answering questions in an earnings call earlier this evening.
"The tablet market is growing fast, we have Apple and lots of other players with tablets," said the Ubi CEO when asked about the publisher's future regarding the tablet market.
"We are developing a few products around our brands. You will see games in the next few years from all of our biggest brands like Assassin's."
"They will be different games," Guillemot replied when asked how similar the titles would be to their console and PC counterparts.
"They will be adapted from games in the past or specifically developed for those platforms."
Assassin's Creed will also be coming to Nintendo's new console, the Wii U, but Guillemot has said that it won't be Revelations, leaving many to speculate about the coming of Assassin's Creed 3
