Funcom and Eidos have announced that Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures has gone gold. This means that gamers will finally be able to play the much anticipated MMORPG come May 20th.
Age of Conan has been in development for more than four years and to highlight the release of this epic title, an investor update (via Voodoo Extreme) shows that Funcom and Eidos are willing to spend nearly 12% of the company's anticipated gross revenues on promoting the game.
Even though Funcom has stated the game is ready for launch, MMOs can often be buggy ordeals, expect immediate patches at launch.
Age of Conan will retail for $59.99 USD in North America and 49.99 Euro in European markets. A subscription fee of $14.99 will be applied to US participants, whereas a 12.99 Euro fee will be applied to European players.
