Acer has released two new all-in-one desktop PCs priced €499 and €699 respectively.
The Acer Android AiO DA223HQL (€499) and Acer Aspire Z3-600 (pictured, prices at €699) are designed to offer users the same touch experience as with tablets and smartphones.
They both offer a built-in battery lasting up to two hours with WiFi on and video play, a lay-flat design letting users tilt the screen backward and a 10-point multi touch HD screen. Both are available now.
The Android OS provides over one million apps from the Google Market, which can be accessed across multiple Android devices under the same user account. The Acer Android AiO DA223HQL also allows the customisation of settings and apps for up to five users.
It can transmit smartphone content to a larger display, too, while the Windows 8 certification allows users to use this Android AiO desktop as a second Win8 Touch monitor.
The Aspire Z3-600 has a tilting touch screen size of 21.5-inch Full HD featuring 10-point multi-touch and gesture control. In addition, the ambient light sensor automatically optimises display lighting for the best view wherever users are, while the IPS wide viewing angles deliver the same vision from up to 170o.
It also features Dolby Home Theater and premium speakers developed by Harman Kardon.
Then there's Aspire Link, which provides HDMI-like connectivity through a USB 3.0 cable. This guarantees a faster file transfer when connecting a small-screen device to the Aspire Z3-600. Acer recently launched a large-scale marketing campaign to promote its touch-screen devices.
