'Major' Assassin's Creed announcement 'days away'

Fans of the Assassin's Creed series will want to be keeping their ears and eyes peeled for the next few days.
Ubisoft has teased via its Facebook page that "a major announcement from Assassin's Creed is only days away".It offers nothing more in the way of details, but does say that fans should keep an eye on theofficial Assassin's Creed website tomorrow for more info.
Earlier this month Ubisoft officially confirmed Assassin's Creed 3, announcing the game alongside an October 30 release date.
Plot and gameplay details for AC3 are currently slim, so we're hoping the announcement will offer more on the new game.
