$50,000 in Cash Prizes Awarded to QuakeCon 2009 Tournament Champs

It's official – bragging rights and $50,000 in cash, courtesy of id Software and Intel, were presented to winners of the Championship Tournaments at the 14th annual QuakeCon.

Checks for the Intel QUAKE LIVE Masters Championship tournament, Intel QUAKE LIVE Open tournament and the QUAKE LIVE Capture the Flag Championship were awarded to:

The Intel QUAKE LIVE Masters Championship
1st Place: Rapha, $14,000
2nd Place: Spart1e, $7,500
3rd Place: Cypher, $4,000

The Intel QUAKE LIVE Open Tournament
1st Place: Flysher, $1,500
2nd Place: Hardup, $750
3rd Place: Cliffy, $250

The QUAKE LIVE Capture the Flag Championship
1st Place: EG (Evil Geniuses), $12,000
2nd Place: WhoRunIt, $6,000
3rd Place: Fnatic, $4,000
